The Classroom of Mr. Stathis

Mare Island Health and Fitness Academy

Morning Messages

 

    Each morning, Mr. Stathis has prepared on the front board, a Message to be shared with students. These messages set the positive tone of learning for the day. Three or Four students are called upon to read the message aloud, practicing reading with EXPRESSION, while the rest of the class respectfully listens. Between readings, Mr. Stathis leads discussion with the students on the topics covered in the messages, encourgaing comments, questions and reinforcing ideas from the students.

    Parents are encouraged to periodically look at these messages with their child, and further discuss with their child the presented ideas.

 

Lots and Lots of Morning Messages to Explore, Think About, Feel the Emotions of, and for those who were there - Remember!
